Members of the Anne Banning Auxiliary of Assistance League of Southern California (ALSC) are the volunteers that manage and provide the service of Operation School Bell. The members are comprised of two groups. Day Members work on OSB Hollywood and OSB Wheels during the week and manage the operations of OSB. Professionals organize the annual fundraiser and volunteer on the Special Saturdays of Service. Each Day Member pays annual dues, commits to working 10 service days, and provides volunteer hours to manage the operation of OSB (buying, inventory management, scheduling, finance, Patron’s Campaign, membership). Every year, our 150+ members provide over 25,000 volunteer hours of service for OSB.
OSB began by serving 10 schools near its original Hollywood facility on Fernwood Avenue. Our current facility is located in the Dorothy E. Leavey Family Resource Center within ALSC on North St. Andrews Place in Hollywood. |
