It's happening here, in our country of vast wealth ... two small brothers share one pair of pants, so each child can attend school when it's his turn to wear them. Some children have arrived at Operation School Bell (OSB) without socks or underwear; many are without a coat or sweater on a cold, rainy day.

It costs over $550,000.00 a year to run OSB's Hollywood facility and Wheels. With each year, the need grows. OSB relies on the generosity of individual and corporate donors who provide both cash and in-kind donations. Additionally, the members of the Anne Banning Auxiliary of the Assistance League of Southern California conduct many fund-raising events to provide money for this vital service. MORE
